Today we had to shut down the official TeXnicCenter issue tracker JIRA out of performance reasons.

The TeXnicCenter homepage and JIRA were both hosted on the private server of the TeXnicCenter project manager. This server is strong enough, to host only the PHP-based web side or only JIRA, but not both of them. Because both components are requiring technologies not available at SourceForge.net, they can even not be hosted there and we were forced to shut down JIRA, to keep the TeXnicCenter web page up and running.

Currently we are looking for (free) hosting alternatives providing a Tomcat-Server and enough power. As soon as we have found a solutions, JIRA will be available again.
